Welcome from the Program Director

Welcome to the Roseman University of Health Sciences, College of Dental Medicine, Advanced Education in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics Residency Program. Thank you for your interest in our extraordinary postdoctoral orthodontic residency program.

Roseman University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine (CODM) was founded in 2007 with an initial AEODO (combined with MBA through Class of 2023) program at the Henderson – Nevada campus. In August 2011, the enrollment began for the inaugural class for the first four-year Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) program at the South Jordan – Utah Campus. The CODM – Utah Campus has since graduated multiple classes of dentists from the DMD program.

The CODM-Nevada Campus offers a 35-month orthodontic residency program. The AEODO Residency Program is fully accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).

Roseman has a well-established history of leadership in health sciences education. The AEODO residency program utilizes Roseman’s innovative mastery learning model, with didactic courses organized in a block curriculum. State-of-the-art equipment and contemporary teaching techniques take education beyond the traditional lecture format thereby providing an intellectually stimulating environment for our residents, interns and faculty.

AEODO orthodontic residents have the opportunity to learn from the best educators. We have an outstanding orthodontic program faculty panel that includes multiple full-time, part-time faculty as well as several adjunct faculty that are recognized speakers/academicians in the orthodontic field. Several AEODO block module instructors are faculty from other leading universities. In addition, residents interact with faculty from Roseman Colleges of dentistry, medicine, nursing, and pharmacy gaining exposure to interdisciplinary education and research.

We are confident that your Roseman AEODO experience will be productive and rewarding. Our Lifelong Colleague Philosophy and Honor Code allows residents to flourish within an environment of trust, integrity and mutual respect. Our aim is to prepare competent orthodontists with scientific knowledge and clinical skills that ethically provide high-quality patient-centered care and service and develop lifelong professional colleagues.
