Glen Roberson, DMD

Associate Professor of Dental Medicine


Dr. Roberson graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), New Jersey Dental School as valedictorian in 2004. During his dental training, he was the recipient of many awards and a member of many honor societies. Following graduation from dental school, he completed a General Practice Residency Program at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ, followed by a full time associateship in Hillsborough, NJ. Dr. Roberson furthered his education by enrolling in the Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics Residency Program at University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) School of Dental Medicine. While there, he performed his duties as a resident, as well as numerous additional duties such as class president, course director and teacher for the undergraduate orthodontics class, as well as a member of various committees. During his residency, he successfully completed the written portion of his American Board of Orthodontics Examination, which makes him board eligible. Upon graduation, Dr. Roberson honed his skills as an orthodontist by working as an associate at a practice in Reno, NV. In January 2010, Dr. Roberson joined Roseman as a full time faculty member in the Advanced Education in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics/MBA (AEODO/MBA) Residency Program. Dr. Roberson is currently an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists (PCSO), and American Dental Education Association (ADEA). He is also serving on a number of University Committees such as Faculty Senate and the Intramural Grant Review Committee (IGRC).

Kishore Chaudhry, MD
Research Associate Professor
Dr. Chaudhry has over three decades of extensive research experience. A physician by background and a senior scientist in the fields of oncology and public health, he has been recognized as a preeminent epidemiologist worldwide. His contributions to the fields of tobacco and cancer research, oral cancer in particular, have played a critical role in several health policy changes, and planning control measures. With extensive research grant experience, Dr. Chaudhry has garnered millions of dollars in grant support from various national and international organizations. Over the last two decades, he has served on several expert planning committees with the World Health Organization (WHO) and other international agencies. He has published extensively in various peer-reviewed journals and authored several book chapters in the topics of cancer research, tobacco control, asthma, and health care expenditure. He is an active reviewer and serves on the editorial board of numerous peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Chaudhry has held key administrative positions in academia as well as in health sector of the Indian government. During his tenure as the Dean and Chair of the Departments of Community and Family Medicine at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS, Bhopal), one of the most reputable educational institutions in India, he was instrumental in the initiation and development of multiple new programs and departments and laid a strong research foundation. The most notable role that defines Dr. Chaudhry’s research accomplishments is his journey as an accomplished researcher to being the Director Level Scientist at the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), which is equivalent to the National Institute of Health (NIH). His extensive experience in multi-specialty and multi-center projects provided him the ability to work in different environments and design studies in accordance with constraints of different scientists and institutions.

Michael Kahn, DDS
Clinical Professor of Dental Medicine


Dr. Michael A. Kahn is a tenured Professor and Chairman of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and Laboratory Director of Tufts Oral Pathology Services. He also is a Professor at Tufts School of Medicine and maintains a university-based consultative oral medicine/oral pathology clinical practice and has conducted intramural and extramural funded basic and clinical research. He has been a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology since 1989 and currently is serving President of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology. Dr. Kahn graduated from Emory University’s School of Dentistry in 1979. Following several years of military and private practice, he returned to Emory for a 3-year residency training in oral pathology. He then completed a one-year postdoctoral research fellowship in oral pathology at Temple University’s School of Medicine. In 1988, he accepted a faculty position at the University of Tennessee-Memphis College of Dentistry. While at Tennessee, Dr. Kahn was a three-time recipient of the UT Health Science Center’s ‘Excellence in Teaching’ award and was selected by his peers to receive the UT College of Dentistry Distinguished Faculty award. In 2002, he accepted a tenured senior faculty position at Tufts and, in 2005 as well as in 2009, he was awarded the Dean’s Excellence in Teaching Award. Dr. Kahn has published more than 80 articles and abstracts in professional journals and is the author of a dental therapeutics book and editor of the oral medicine part 2 section of Lexi-Comp’s “Drug Information Handbook for Dentistry”. Dr. Kahn has given over 400 invited presentations and continuing education courses, including numerous on oral cancer, and has produced several educational multimedia series on a wide variety of oral and maxillofacial pathology topics including oral cancer for EDIC. He serves on several standing and advisory committees of the American Dental Association and is a member of the American Association of Dental Research and American Dental Education Association. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology (AAOMP), International College of Dentists, American College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He also serves on the editorial board of the peer-reviewed journals Oral Surgery Oral Medicine Oral Pathology Oral Radiology and Endodontology, Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and Inside Dentistry.

Pramod K. Sinha, DDS, BDS, MS
Professor of Dental Medicine

Dr. Sinha earned his Dental degrees from the College of Dentistry from Calcutta University (B.D.S.), as well as the College of Dentistry, the University of Oklahoma (D.D.S.). He earned his Master of Science and a Certification of Specialty in Orthodontics from Marquette University School of Dentistry. He is a Board-certified orthodontist who currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Roseman University of Health Sciences. Dr. Sinha served on a variety of professional boards at the state and national levels in Dentistry and Orthodontics including the State Dental Board of Washington state. He was invited to serve on Editorial Boards for Orthodontic Journals and Dental Journals. He has been an educator in Orthodontics for over 28 years and has served as a Program Director for Orthodontic residency programs. Also, he was involved in successfully creating and starting a CODA accredited Orthodontic Residency program in the US. Dr. Sinha has published numerous articles in peer reviewed journals; book chapters in orthodontic and dental textbooks; and abstracts in the JDR among other formats. He served as the Inaugural Electronic Communications Editor for the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics where he was involved in creating the “NewsWire”, the current digital publication for PCSO. He created and established research projects at the University of Oklahoma and mentored several M.S. theses. He has been invited to present at a variety of National and International Clinical, Research and Business meetings.


Richard M. Stevens, DMD
Clinical Professor of Dental Medicine
Dr. Stevens first became interested in orthodontics while in high school and his orthodontic treatment was being completed. He was managing a gas station and doing mechanical work, but his orthodontist encouraged him to become an orthodontist. Dr. Stevens graduated from the University of Utah in Medical Biology, and completed his professional training in Boston at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Stevens is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and is a founding member and Fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontists. He has been active in several national, regional, state and local professional societies. Highlights include service as President of the Nevada State Society of Orthodontists, President of the Northeast Nevada Dental Society, and founding member and Vice-President of the Association of Lingual & Esthetic Orthodontists. Some of Dr. Stevens’ professional contributions include publishing several papers on orthodontics, including topics on lingual appliances, adult orthodontics, and early treatment. Teaching review courses for the orthodontic section of the National Board Exams to dental students from Tufts, Harvard and Boston Universities, lab instructor for the orthodontic courses in the dental school curriculum at Tufts, and presenting clinical and continuing professional education courses. Dr. Stevens has also taught courses in all levels of rock climbing at Great Basin Community College and is active in the Boy Scouts of America.  Dr. Stevens finds orthodontics an interesting and progressive specialty that provides a very beneficial service. Dr. Stevens feels that the orthodontist is in an ideal position to reinforce a positive outlook on life as well as help patients gain greater self-confidence which can lead to improved relations in the social and employment arenas. The main reason Dr. Stevens specialized in orthodontics is because it provides a unique opportunity to do something for others, which will have a beneficial effect throughout their lives.  Outside his professional endeavors, Dr. Stevens enjoys acting as a subject matter expert and consultant in legal, clinical, and business matters. He is active in his church and spends as much time as he can outdoors with family and friends camping, climbing, hiking, hunting, fishing, water and snow skiing, motorcycling, cycling, and in the shooting sports. Mechanics, metal & wood working, and refurbishing items are additional interests.

Karthikeyan Subramani, BDS, MSc, MS
Assistant Professor of Dental Medicine

Dr. Karthikeyan Subramani received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University (India) and a Master of Science degree from University of Newcastle upon Tyne (United Kingdom) in Biomedical Nanotechnology. Following this, Dr. Subramani was involved in the International Team for Implantology (ITI) funded research projects in Switzerland, the Netherlands and in the USA on guided bone regeneration and implant biomaterial research. He later completed a fellowship program in Orthodontics and Craniofacial Research at the University of Kentucky (Lexington, KY) prior to completing his Advanced Education in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics Residency Program and at the same institution in 2015. During his education at the University of Kentucky, he was involved in the American Association of Orthodontics Foundation (AAOF) funded research project leading to a second Master of Science degree. Dr. Subramani was the recipient of the prestigious 2006 Andre Schroeder Research Prize from Straumann (Switzerland) for his innovative research findings during his Biomedical Nanotechnology degree program in the United Kingdom. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed original research and review manuscripts and has authored numerous book chapters. Dr. Subramani is the editor for two textbooks, “Emerging Nanotechnologies in Dentistry” (Foreword by Nobel Laureate Sir. Harold W Kroto) and “Nanobiomaterials in Clinical Dentistry” published by Elsevier. Both the books are currently published in their second editions in 2018 and 2019. Dr. Subramani is also serving a member of various editorial boards of Nanotechnology, Orthodontics and Implantology journals. Dr. Subramani is currently a full time faculty in AEODO/MBA residency program and is actively involved in didactic teaching, research and clinical care to the patients. He is professionally affiliated with American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), American Dental Association (ADA), International Association for Dental Research (IADR) and Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists (PCSO). Dr. Subramani has presented his research findings in numerous international conferences and his research interests include Nanobiomaterials and Orthodontics research. Dr. Subramani was the recipient of the “2016 Robert M. Ricketts Sunflower Orthodontics Fellowship Award” from the American Association of Orthodontics Foundation (AAOF). Recently, Dr. Subramani was awarded the highly prestigious “Milo Hellman Award” in 2019 given by the American Association of Orthodontics (AAO). Milo Hellman Award is awarded to the most outstanding and meritorious research project of unusual merit, related to orthodontics and will only be awarded, when the research has achieved such a distinction. Dr. Subramani is humbled to receive such an honor and his personal interests include travelling, working out and spending time with his family. Publications List
